What? I thought the bail out plan was a good thing!

It's only been a little over an hour since the Senate passed their version of the"save the World and the Universe and the poor dumb public" bail out plan, but already the markets are responding. Futures are selling off sharply on the news, which is sort of strange, don't you think, since it really isn't a surprise at all. I'll bet those Senators are looking at that response from the markets and probably looking like this!
   This is a strange world right now and this immediate market response is just another example. The bill fails in the House, the markets sell off. The Senate takes it up, the markets rally. The Senate actually passes a bill, the futures market begins to sell off. Go figure. Commit these times to memory. You'll want to recall these lessons later in life to share with your children and grandchildren.
