Julio Jones is from my town!

Do you know who Julio Jones is? If you watch college football and watched Alabama defeat LSU Saturday, you saw him in action. He's Alabama's unbelievable true freshman wide receiver, and he's from Foley, Al. We had the privilege of watching Julio for 3 years at Foley High School. We all knew how good he was in the 10th grade.

Alabama has a very storied football history. In fact they are arguably one of the top three or four programs in college football history when you look at the data, national championships, wins, etc.

In all of those years of playing football, Alabama has NEVER had a true freshman start at wide receiver. Never. Julio Jones not only earned a starting spot the first week of practice, but he is also the leading receiver for the currently #1 ranked Crimson Tide.

I bring this up for a couple or reasons. First, this market is beginning to grind on me and I wanted to talk about something else, and second, we've been seeing a lot of "never before's" this year, just like Julio.

I honestly believe we'll look back in twenty years and brag "hey, I was there when that happened". I think we will have earned that right, don't you?

As far as this market goes, the support level around "890 or so" held today so it's time to find out how much ammo the bulls have left. This whole move is beginning to look like a large consolidation pattern, larger than the one we were following earlier. That would explain the indecision we've been witnessing.

We had the pennant pattern that broke down recently, but it may be just morphing into a larger continuation pattern. That's VERY common and it's caught my eye. If that's the case then a move up from here is in order, but it'll be a bull trap. I'll look at some numbers tomorrow. Anyhow, if you like college football, check Julio out. They've even got him on you tube!
