The market followed through today on the downside break of it's wedge from yesterday. It's not going to take much to send this market into a tailspin from here. It would be highly unusual to happen during light holiday trading around the end of the year, but it's possible.

For the bullish case to hold any water the market has to stabilize in here and begin a move up that breaks out over 918 or so. It doesn't seem like the energy is available for such a move. Maybe it's just lulling me to sleep. If that's the case it 's doing a pretty good job. I'd stay alert right here just in case something unusual happens.

All asset classes continue to deflate severely. Gold does appear to be showing relative strength however. I'd keep an eye on that. There's a lot of people betting on a currency crisis sooner rather than later. That's where golds strength lies.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. That's an exciting time around these parts, especially for my two girls. I think I'll sit back and enjoy it with them. Merry Christmas everybody.
