Man does not live by hotdogs alone!
Well I just arrived home from another night at the ballpark with my girls (three nights so far this week) and I'm feeling rather ill. You see the town of Foley where we live opened a new softball/baseball facility this year for the kids and it has something I rather like....a new concession stand.
And in this concession stand they have something I really, really like...$1.00 hotdogs, $1.00 fries and $1.00 softdrinks! And they give you FREE mustard and ketchup!!! How can anyone pass that up?
So you can guess why I feel rather ill tonight. I've been done in by a deal. (you must admit those are pretty good prices!)
As far as the markets go, I'd rate the response today to yesterdays selloff as tepid at best. I guess those dip buyers have sweaty palms and hesitant keyboards. No surprise reallly.
So nothing's changed. For intermediate term traders the numbers are all the same. A break of 875 brings 850 and 820 into play as support. A break of 930 brings 943 to the table as resistance. A breakout over that and it's up for a while.
Gold has an inverse H&S pattern that would be bullish if activated. The UNG, a nat gas play, looks like it may want to break out to the upside. (Sorry Scott and tell the family we said hello) But it's given a fakeout before so be careful.
